In 1951, Huilai County (Nanyang Mountain Area) was included in Puning county. In 1957, sheyun came to his hometown. In 1961, Yunluo commune was established. In 1983, the district was changed. In 1986, the town was built.

In 2018, there were 38 industrial enterprises in Yunluo Town, including 10 industrial enterprises above designated size.
