Xingdu economic development test area is located in the west of Lufeng City, adjacent to Tanxi town in the southeast, Haifeng County in the West and southwest town in the north. It was established in November 1992 and approved by the people's Government of Guangdong Province in January 1994 to set up an economic development pilot zone at the deputy department level.
