Shigezhuang street is under the jurisdiction of Changping District. It extends to the boundary between Huilongguan town and Shahe Town and Dongxiaokou town in the East, Changping District and Haidian District in the west, dongbanbidian village and erbazi village in the south, Beijing Tibet Expressway and Huilongguan North Road in the south, and the boundary between Huilongguan town and Shahe Town, Beijing Tibet Expressway and Dingsi road in the north. It covers an area of about 13.4 square kilometers and has a permanent population of about 122400. It governs agricultural college, changyiyuan and Lingxiu Huigu communities (another one to be built and four to be built) and five villages including zhuxinzhuang, dongbanbidian, xibanbidian, Dingfu Huangzhuang and shigezhuang.

Evolution of organizational system

In 1961, it was the shigezhuang brigade of Shahe Sino Vietnamese friendship commune, and later changed to shigezhuang management area.

In 1983, the history of Gezhuang township was changed.

In 1996, it covers an area of 13 square kilometers and has a population of 10000. It governs five administrative villages, namely dingfuhuangzhuang, Xidian, Dongdian, zhuxinzhuang and shigezhuang.

In September 1999, the municipal government agreed to abolish shigezhuang Township in Changping County and merge it into Huilongguan town.

In 2015, Huilongguan town was abolished and three streets, Huilongguan, Longzeyuan and shigezhuang, were set up. The area east of Beijing Tibet Expressway and north of Dingsi road in Huilongguan town was assigned to Shahe Town (Regional Office), and the residential area of Bishui manor was managed by Shahe Town (Regional Office).
