Changbu town

Changbu town belongs to Wuhua County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province. It is located in the northwest of the county, adjacent to Zijin County, Longchuan County and Dongyuan County of Heyuan City. In November 2004, it was merged from the former Changbu town and Datian Town, covering an area of 124.8 square kilometers (2017), including 410000 mu of mountainous area and 26100 mu of cultivated land. There are 25 village committees and 2 community neighborhood committees in the town, with a population of 48332 (2017).

In 2006, the total output value of industry and agriculture of the whole town was 280.24 million yuan, including 72.8 million yuan of total output value of township enterprises and 3053 yuan of per capita income.

In 2009, it was awarded the honorary title of "Meizhou technology innovation town" by Meizhou science and Technology Bureau.

Qimu Zhang

Qimuzhang nature reserve is known as Qimuzhang nature reserve, the largest nature reserve in eastern Guangdong Province. It is located in Changbu Town, Wuhua County, adjacent to Heyuan, Zijin, Longchuan and three counties. It is about 45 kilometers away from Wuhua County, with a total area of 58.5 square kilometers. It is a provincial nature reserve. It is a primary secondary broad-leaved forest region, and also one of the largest natural broad-leaved forest regions in Guangdong Province. The reserve has seven peaks at an altitude of more than 1000 meters. The main peak is 1318 meters high. When you climb the peak, you can see Wuhua and its adjacent six counties and cities. Hence the name of Qimuzhang.

Here is rich in rare animal and plant resources, with countless charming natural landscape. After many investigations, experts and professors call it "treasure house of species, pearl of eastern Guangdong". Qimuzhang Nature Reserve has a wide range of species, with more than 2000 species verified by experts. Among them, there are 15 species of rare and endangered plants under state protection, such as Alsophila spinulosa, Cephalotaxus fortunei, Diaopi cone, Toona sinensis, and other animals, such as clouded leopard, pheasant, pangolin, etc.
