Jingxiang Bookstore

Jingxiang bookstore is located in the west of zanhuating in wanhuayuan scenic area of thin West Lake. Facing south, the library is a three room blue brick house with typical architectural style of Qing Dynasty. "Jingxiang bookstore" is Jinnong's lacquer calligraphy. Jinnong, as the first of the eight strange people in Yangzhou, is excellent in poetry, writing, calligraphy and painting. Jinnong is good at painting plum blossoms. "It's not spiritual to have plum blossoms without snow. It's vulgar to have plum blossoms without snow.". It is surrounded by Dai Ji powder wall. The painted boat is half boat, the pavilion is half Pavilion, and the beauty at the entrance of the moon is only half, which breaks the symmetry and regularity of the old garden and makes it light and lively. The couplets on both sides of the main gate are inscribed by Zheng Banqiao, another celebrity of the eight Monsters: "the flying tower is half in the sky, and the study is among the bamboo trees.". In the study, there are wood carvings of songlinmei, table screens and vases on the table, four treasures of the study on the desk, thread bound ancient books on the multi treasure shelf, and a game of go on the round table.

In 1993, "Qingyin garden" based on Jingxiang book house was exhibited in "China Garden" of Stuttgart Expo in Germany. With its distinctive national characteristics and unique construction concept, it won the "golden cup award" and was permanently preserved in Germany.
