Luogang town is located in the north northeast of Guangning County, adjacent to Jiangtun town in the East, Tanbu and Nanjie town in the south, Kengkou town in the west, Chikeng and Beishi town in the north. Luogangwei town is 19 kilometers away from the county. The total area of the town is 97.35 square kilometers.

hydrology

Luogang River, the main river, originates from songzipang, Tanbu Town, flows through Tanbu, Luogang and Kengkou to the northwest, and flows into Gushui river at chishuikou, Kengkou Town, with a length of 12 km.

Luogang town can develop 1500 kW of water resources, and has developed 1008 kW. There are six small hydropower stations in the town, with a total installed capacity of 1000 kW. County Road Ke (MU) Luo (Gang) line goes straight to Xu town. Ke Luo line connects with provincial road Zhu Mu line at Ke mu, and passes through Tongnan Street 6 km away from Zhu Mu line. In 2016, the total agricultural output value of the town was 136 million yuan, an increase of 8.78% over the previous year, and the paddy field area was 5626.57 mu. Rice, potato, vegetable and fruit are the main planting industries. During the year, grain sown area was 24700 mu, with a total output of 15000 tons, including rice sown area of 10000 mu, with a total output of 3517 tons, an increase of 1.3% over the previous year; cassava, sweet potato, potato sown area of 2833 mu, with a total output of 2292 tons; vegetable sown area of 3199 mu, with a total output of 5932 tons; water fruit sown area of 2054 mu, with a total output of 2188 tons, including Shatangju area of 670 mu, with a total output of 1179 tons. Forestry production, completed afforestation area of 1600 mu, reforestation of 600 mu, timber harvesting of 5000 cubic meters. In animal husbandry and fishery production, 9821 pigs and 172900 livestock (chickens, ducks and geese) were sold. The aquaculture area is 121 Mu and the total output is 231 tons. In that year, there were 52 bamboo rat farmers in Luogang Town, raising 5000 bamboo rats, planting 6200 mu of edible white camellia oleifera and 1000 mu of big meat hawthorn, 15000 plants. There are 2 Edible Camellia oleifera nursery bases, 2 Oriental red and Luoyuan passion fruit bases, 1 green tree nursery base, and 1 nursery base for other tree species. We have done a good job in farmland water conservancy construction, invested 10 million yuan to complete two farmland water conservancy projects, benefiting Luogang community, Luoyuan, Qunli and Dongfanghong, with a population of 12000.
