Magui town is located in the northern mountainous area of Gaozhou City, Maoming City, Guangdong Province. It is adjacent to Shuangjiao town of Yangchun City in the East, Qianpai town and Heshui town of Xinyi City in the north, Guding town in the West and Dapo town in the south. It is located at the junction of the three cities. The transit roads include provincial road Luoshui line, Sanma line and County Road Changma line, with convenient transportation. The total area of the town is 157.23 square kilometers (2017), including 16000 mu of cultivated land and 173500 mu of forest land. The market town covers an area of 2.5 square kilometers. There are 14 village committees and 1 neighborhood committee in the town, with a total population of 31669 (2017).
