Dahuangzhuang Town, belonging to Huailai County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Huailai County. It borders dongbali Township in the East, Shacheng Township in the southeast, dongxiaozhuang township of Zhuolu County across the Yanghe River in the south, xibali Township in the West and xinbaoan town in the north. It is 12000 meters away from the people's Government of Huailai County, with a total area of 46.17 square kilometers.

In July 1953, dahuangzhuang township was set up in dahuangzhuang town; in November 2002, it was changed from dahuangzhuang township to dahuangzhuang town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Dahuang town was 18611. As of June 2020, dahuangzhuang town has nine administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in dahuangzhuang village.

History of construction

In July 1953, dahuangzhuang township was established.

In August 1958, it belonged to the new Baoan commune.

In June 1961, dahuangzhuang commune was set up.

In May 1984, dahuangzhuang commune was changed into dahuangzhuang township.

In November 2002, it was changed from dahuangzhuang township to dahuangzhuang town.
