As of October 2019, Liantang street has jurisdiction over 9 communities.
At the end of 2003, there were 669 large-scale industrial and commercial enterprises in Liantang street, including nearly 100 industrial enterprises. Among the industrial enterprises, there are 3 enterprises under the Ministry, 10 enterprises under the provincial and municipal government, 10 enterprises under the district government and 10 enterprises with internal links.
Historical evolution
Before the establishment of Liantang street, it was Liantang brigade of Fucheng commune.
In December 1983, Liantang brigade was transformed into Liantang administrative village, which was under the jurisdiction of the newly established Huangbei street.
On January 20, 1998, Liantang sub district office was established.

Wutong Mountain scenic area is located in the eastern part of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, west of Shenzhen reservoir, east to Yantian port, and North and south near the boundary of the Special Administrative Region. The scenic spot is adjacent to the prosperous urban area and faces Dapeng Bay in the South China Sea. It is connected with the mountains in the new territories of Hong Kong and connected with streams. It has a unique geographical location in domestic scenic spots. With an area of 31.82 square kilometers, it was awarded the provincial scenic spot by Guangdong Provincial Government in May 1993.
The fairy lake botanical garden is located in Luohu District, Shenzhen, east of Shenzhen first peak Wutong Mountain, Shenzhen reservoir in the West. Covering an area of 546 hectares, it was founded in 1983 and officially opened to the public in 1988. It is a botanical garden integrating species conservation, scientific research, science popularization and tourism.
Hongfa temple is located in the Shenzhen Special Administrative Region, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, facing Southeast Asia. It is located in the eastern suburbs of Wutong Mountain, known as the green heart and lung of Shenzhen. It is backed by the Wutong Mountain, facing the fairy lake. It sits southeast and northwest. Hongfa Temple began to be built in 1983. In 1985, Ben Huan's elder relatives started construction. In June 1992, the main building was basically completed. At the same time, the grand opening ceremony of Buddha statue and the promotion ceremony of Ben Huan elder was held. The municipal government officially approved the opening of the temple as a religious place.
