To the mountain village

Duishan township is located in the southwest of Yongshun County, 45 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Daba Township in the East, Zejia town in the southeast, Baojing County in the southwest, danfang Township in Longshan County in the northwest and Xiqi Township in the north, with an average altitude of 304 meters. It has a humid climate in the Middle Subtropical Mountainous Area, with an average annual temperature of 16.5 ℃, an annual rainfall of 1350 mm and a frost free period of 280 days. The traffic is inconvenient. There is only a simple rural road from Daba to Duishan, which is connected with the outside world. The infrastructure is backward.

The total land area is 88.37 square kilometers (2017), with 9835 mu of cultivated land, including 4635 mu of paddy fields. It has jurisdiction over 7 administrative villages with 7378 people (in 2017), of which the Tujia population accounts for more than 95% of the total population. The township increased the adjustment of agricultural structure, and developed 316 mu of medicinal materials, 307 mu of oranges, 684 mu of pears and other fruits. We strengthened the infrastructure construction and completed the rural power grid reconstruction of the Xingbao river bank and tuojia, Taiji and Fudi villages. Six of the seven administrative villages in the township have access roads. The total output value of the township is 9.6 million yuan, including 6.72 million yuan of agricultural output value. The total grain output is 1867 tons. The per capita net income is 980 yuan.
