On January 25, the author learned from Wanmipo town of Baojing County that in order to further expand the tobacco industry and help farmers increase production and income, the town arranged a special fund of 800000 yuan to reward tobacco farmers. Flue cured tobacco planting in Wanmipo town has a history of 10 years. In the past, due to the lack of technical support and effective measures, the planting area of tobacco leaves in this town has been stagnant and the benefit is low. In view of this situation, the Party committee and government of the town timely issued the tobacco planting reward and support policy at the beginning of the year to encourage and help returning farmers to develop the tobacco industry. For each mu of Tobacco Planted by farmers, the town government will reward 200 yuan; for each new tobacco house built by farmers, the town government will subsidize 1000 yuan on the basis of 3000 yuan subsidized by the county government; for each mu of Tobacco Planted by administrative villages, 15 yuan will be awarded, and 20 yuan will be awarded for exceeding the number of tasks. Each farmer is expected to get nearly 2000 yuan from the town government. The town's 500 farmers grow 2900 mu of tobacco, which is expected to produce 7500 cigarettes, with an output value of more than 8 million yuan, and the average income of each farmer can be increased by more than 300 yuan.
