Lixikou Township

Lixikou township is located in the southwest of Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County, 42 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to dongxiachang Township in the East, Luoyan Township in the south, yanggongmiao Township in the north and butoujiang Township and mibei Township in Xinhuang Dong Autonomous County in the West. In 1950, it belonged to the Fifth District, and in 1958, it belonged to the "satellite people's commune". In 1961, when the commune system was adjusted, lixikou commune was established, named after the place name of lixikou. The commune was stationed in Shenzhu underground. In 1984, lixikou township was established, and the Township People's government was stationed in Shenzhu.

There are Dong, Han, Miao and other nationalities in the territory, with Miao accounting for 52%, Dong 43% and Han 5%. There are lixikou, xiashenzhu and Jianxi markets. There is one junior middle school, one central primary school and nine village primary schools in the town. There are 57 teachers, including 21 junior middle school teachers, 36 primary school teachers and 879 students, including 272 junior middle school students and 607 primary school students.
