Dashuao township is located in the northwest border of Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County, Huaihua City, Hunan Province, 42 kilometers away from the county. It is connected with muyexi Township in the East, xindianping Township in the south, Wawu township of Wanshan Special Zone in Guizhou Province in the West and Tuochong township of Mayang County in the North.
