Shiyangshao Township

Shiyangshao township is located in the northwest of Mayang Miao Autonomous County, adjacent to Fenghuang County, Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture, about 300 meters away from the west side of national highway 209. The total area of shiyangshao township is 72.7 square kilometers. It governs 12 villages, 57 villager groups, 6921 people (in 2017). There are 13 schools, 1 health center, and 6517 mu of cultivated land, 0.64 mu per capita.

Shiyangshao Township, located in the northwest of Mayang Miao Autonomous County, Hunan Province, is 24 kilometers away from Mayang county and 9 kilometers away from Fenghuang County of Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture. Resource status

There are ancient volcanic belts, pot shaped crater sites and hot spring belts. There are hot springs in huangtuxi reservoir, Xinjian village and Xintian village, which are suitable for hot spring development. Mineral resources are very rich, manganese ore, kaolin and other development value.

Natural resources

Rice is the main crop, and citrus is the main economic crop. The area of Citrus has grown to 13000 mu, with an annual output of 14000 tons. Huangtuxi reservoir's specialty products, such as small dried fish, tea oil, Jinqiu Pear and seedless watermelon, are cheap and of good quality, which are deeply loved by people in Huaihua, Jishou and other places. It is the largest tobacco planting base in Mayang County, and its output ranks first in the county.
