Shujia Village
Shujia village belongs to Mayang Miao Autonomous County. It is located in the southwest of Mayang Miao Autonomous County, adjacent to Jiangkou market town in the East, Daqiao River town in the south, Changtan town in the west, tanjiazhai town and Longjiabao town in the north, 35 km away from the county.
Historical evolution
Before liberation, Shujia village and Daqiao River Township were under the jurisdiction of Qingyun township. After the founding of new China, the township level political power was established. In 1958, the people's commune of Shujia village was established, and in 1980, the commune was withdrawn to build the township.

Jinjiang River runs through the territory, covering an area of 42 square kilometers (2017). It governs 9 administrative villages and 64 villager groups, with a total population of 11338 (2017).
geographical environment
Shujia village belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate zone, with the highest altitude of 415 meters in Dangguan mountain and the lowest altitude of 169 meters in paomatan. It is mainly composed of hills. It has four distinct seasons, moderate rainfall and sunshine, and frost free period of about 240 days. It is suitable for the development of agricultural production, and is rich in rice, citrus, seedless watermelon, brown sugar, peanut, rape, greenhouse vegetables and crystal sugar orange. the total cultivated land area of the township is 8415.06 mu, and the per capita cultivated land area is 0.78 mu. Most of the cultivated land is purple and yellow, and the soil quality is good. The water area of the township is 4034 mu, including 1 small-scale reservoir, 12 small-scale reservoirs, 64 backbone ponds, and about 6200 mu of irrigated farmland. The forest area is 31378.5 mu, accounting for 50.68% of the total area. The forest coverage rate is 42%. Most of the soil is purple soil, and a small part is mountain yellow soil, red soil and fluvo aquic soil. The main tree species in the township are pine, cypress and Cunninghamia lanceolata.

Zhang Mei: deputy head of the township, in charge of the work of the rural system, women's Federation, science and technology, internal affairs management, rural social security, party and government affairs, and rural comprehensive reform. Teng Shuliang: Chairman of the trade union, in charge of publicity system, health system, education system, rural cooperative medical care management, rural environmental sanitation work, and family planning work. He is the leader of publicity, culture, education and health group.
