Development history

Rongmenlu administrative office was established in 1949, renamed rongmenlu Street office in 1951, rongmenlu Street office in 1954, and tengwangge commune was established in 1958, which was named after tengwangge. In 1960, Shengli Road Street office was merged (separated in 1962) and renamed tengwangge street in 1979. There are 22 streets such as Yanjiang North Road and Zhongshan Road in the territory, and Tengwang Pavilion is located in the territory. In 1997, it covers an area of 0.2 square kilometers and has a population of 11000. It has nine neighborhood committees, namely Zhangjiang Road, shangfenghuangpo, xiafenghuangpo, rongmen Road, Shichang street, tengwangge, Xianqian street, yuanzimiao and Zigu road.

Fuzigulu street is located in the west of the District, with 19 streets and alleys, such as houqiang Road, Zhangjiang road and Mingde road. Historical sites include the palace of Zhu Quan, king of Ning in Ming Dynasty, the former site of FanTai Yamen in late Qing Dynasty and Helong headquarters of Nanchang Uprising on August 1. In 1997, with an area of 0.8 square kilometers and a population of 16000, it has jurisdiction over 12 neighborhood committees in houqiang North Road, shebuting, Biandan Lane No.1 and No.2, Lijia lane, Guanyin lane, donglongxu lane, Zigu road No.1 and No.2, Zhangjiang Road North, Zongmao lane and rongmen road. The office is located at 165 Zigu road. It was withdrawn in 2002.
