Xiaozhuang Town, subordinate to Xupu County, is located in the north of Xupu County, 26 kilometers away from the county, covering an area of 202 square kilometers (in 2019), with a population of 68000 (in 2019). Hunan Guizhou railway transit and set up low Zhuang station, Sixi station, G241, g354 national highway through the town.

In 1956, it was called Xiaozhuang township. In 1961, it was established as a town. In 1963, it was changed into a commune. In 1983, it was restored to a town. The town has 5 neighborhood committees and 34 village committees. It is mainly agricultural and rich in citrus. Township enterprises have smelters, refractories, cement, pottery and other factories, which are the distribution center of agricultural and sideline products in the northern part of the county and adjacent counties. In 2004, they were rated as the national key towns.

Dizhuang is a big agricultural town with excellent natural conditions for agricultural production. The town has 26794 mu of arable land and fertile soil. farmers mainly grow grain crops and characteristic crops, and their main agricultural products are rice, pigs, oranges, red dates, corn, watermelon, sweet potato, Jinqiu pear, etc. among them, egg dates are well-known both inside and outside the province, and the low Zhuang custom is known as "the hometown of dates".
