Mengdian Township, belonging to Yanshan County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of Yanshan County, with national highway 205 in the East, Zhangweixin River in the south, cangle highway in the West and xuanhui River in the north. In the thirty-seven year (1948), registered residence in Meng shop; in 1958, it was changed to Meng Dian commune; in 1984, it was restored to Meng Dian township; by the end of 2018, there were 43655 registered population in Meng Dian township; as of June 2020, 35 administrative villages were in the rural area of Meng shop, and the Township People's government was in Meng Village.

History of construction

In 1948, Mengdian township was built.

In 1958, it was changed into Mengdian commune.

In 1984, it was restored to Mengdian township.
