Baishuiyang town

Baishuiyang town is the central town of Zhejiang Province and the important western town of Linhai City, known as "Little Hong Kong". Baishuiyang, located at the border of Linhai, Tiantai and Xianju, is the traffic throat connecting Taizhou and Jinhua. It covers an area of 217 square kilometers and governs 123 administrative villages with a total population of 74125 (2017).

Zhang Bu

Zhang bu (1139-1217), whose name is Bofu, was born in Xiangli, Linhai (now Xiangli village, Baishuiyang town). In 1172, the eighth year of emperor Xiaozong's reign of Qiandao in the Southern Song Dynasty, he was a Jinshi in the middle of the imperial court. He successively served as a professor of Xin, tan and Fu, as well as a recorder of the University, editor of the Privy Council, and Chief Secretary of the Secretary Council. He was promoted to a doctor of the Ministry of criminal justice. He became the Prime Minister of the imperial court because of his disobedience. After resigning, he returned to Li and became a professor. The book "four sons and six classics explanation" was appreciated by LiZong.

Tomb of Xie Shenfu

Xie Shenfu's tomb is located in Baoning temple, jingjingtan village, Baishuiyang Town, on the hillside behind the original Baoning temple. Baoning temple was built at an unknown time, with the initial name of "Yongming". In the Five Dynasties, the famous monk Deshao was rebuilt. In the first year of emperor Tianxi of Song Dynasty (1017), the amount was changed. In the first year of Kaixi (1205) of the Southern Song Dynasty, Xie Shenfu's family begged for a fragrant lamp house. In 1948, the main hall of the temple was demolished because of the construction of Tongjitang primary school. Today, there are still four farmers living in the wing room, which has become a natural village.

Xie Shenfu (1139-1204), whose name is zisu, was born in Linhai. When he was young, he had an unusual insight and was determined to learn. In the second year of Qiandao (1166) of the Southern Song Dynasty, he was a Jinshi and was first granted the title of Shengxian Wei. Qian Duanli, a native of the city, recommended him as the county magistrate of Kunshan County, and soon became an examiner of Zhejiang Province's Cao Cao. Later, he served as magistrate of Qingtian County, and recommended to the court for the imperial censor Ge Ying, the censor Yan Shilu, and the Minister of rites Wang Lin. song Xiaozong summoned him to inquire about the way of employing people. Xie Shenfu suggested that people with both ability and political integrity should be employed instead of being arrogant and selfish. He was removed from his native land and moved to dalicheng.
