Shigaitang street is located in the southeast of Beihu District, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, adjacent to aoshang Town, Suxian District, Chenzhou City in the East, yangtianhu Yao Township in the south, Baohe Yao Township and Lutang town in the west, and Zengfu street in the north. The sub district office is located in Wuxing village, with jurisdiction over 12 villages including Wuxing village, Xiaoxi village, Daxi village, Guangming Village, wanshouqiao village, bantianjiao village, Jiangkou Village, Xinwu village, longguangdong Yao village, Shanglong village, Xialong village and zhujianshui village, and 2 communities including Industrial Park community and Jiangkou community. it is said that Tieguai Li in "Eight Immortals floating in the sea" got his name when he flew over the South sky and fell into the pond. Shigaitang street was originally Xiaoxi township. At the beginning of the people's Republic of China, Xiaoxi was incorporated into aoshang commune in 1958, Xiaoxi commune was established in December 1980, Xiaoxi commune was restored to Xiaoxi Township in 1984, and Beihu district was assigned to it in 1995. In May 1996, Xiaoxi village was moved to shigaitang and renamed shigaitang town. In April 2012, Jiangkou Township and shigaitang town were merged into an organic system to establish shigaitang town. In June 2016, with the approval of the Municipal People's government, the town was changed into a street and set as shigaitang street, with an area of 92.37 square kilometers, 9140 households and 28190 people.
