Lijiadi town

Lijiadi Town, belonging to Kangbao County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Kangbao County, bordering Shangdu county and Huade County of Inner Mongolia in the West and south, 29.1km away from the people's Government of Kangbao County, with a total area of 150 square kilometers.

In 1958, lijiadi commune was set up in lijiadi town; in 1994, lijiadi township was changed into lijiadi town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Li Jia Di town was 13488. As of June 2020, lijiadi town has 18 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in lijiadi village.

Lijiadi town mainly grows wheat, naked oats, potatoes, beets, flax and vegetables in agriculture, and mainly raises pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry in animal husbandry.

History of construction

In 1958, Li Jiadi commune was established.

In 1984, it was changed from lijiadi commune to lijiadi township.

In 1994, it was changed from lijiadi township to lijiadi town.

History and culture

In 1921, Li huanlin, a land releasing merchant from Ding County, Hebei Province, came to build a village. He named it Mr. Li's land and later renamed it lijiadi. Lijiadi town is named after the town people's government's residence in lijiadi village.
