Erfangping town

Jinglongqiao Township and erfangping Township were incorporated into an organic system to establish erfangping town. The newly established erfangping town governs 23 villages, with a total area of 171.52 square kilometers (2017) and a total population of 18568 (2017). The town people's government is stationed in jinglongqiao (the former jinglongqiao Township People's Government).

Erfangping town is located in the southeast of Cili County, adjacent to Reshi town of Taoyuan County in the East, Huangshi town of Taoyuan County in the south, Huangshi reservoir in the West and Lingxi River in the north. It is 27 kilometers away from the county seat, and is formed by the combination of the former erfangping Township and the former jinglongqiao township. The whole Township covers an area of 171.52 square kilometers (2017), with 23958 mu of arable land and more than 70% of forest coverage. The town governs 14 villages, 269 villager groups and 18568 people (in 2017), including 5728 immigrants, belonging to the county's immigrant town.

Surrounded by mountains, it is a typical hilly landform, rich in rice, corn and tea oil. The water area of the township is 25100 mu, with an annual output of 1.6 million tons of fish. The main varieties are rocker, bream, herring, silver carp, carp, forktail, silver carp, salmon and anchovy. The high-quality fruits include Ponkan, navel orange, Bingtang orange, with an annual output of more than 8000 tons. The timber stock is 98000 cubic meters, Pinus massoniana, Phyllostachys pubescens and Eucommia ulmoides Oliv.
