Luoshui Township

Luoshui township is located in the northwest of Yongding District, Zhangjiajie City, bordering jiaoziya town and yinjiaxi town in the East, sanjiaguan Town, Wentang town and Qiaotou town in the south. It is 12 km away from the provincial highway 1835 and 42.5 km away from the urban area.

Basic information

It governs 9 administrative villages, 100 villager groups, with a total population of 6905 (2017), a soil area of 61.82 square kilometers (2017), a cultivated land area of 8490 Mu and a dry land area of 1598 mu, belonging to Tujia Nationality Settlement.

The main products in the territory are grain, oil, dry fruit and other planting industries. Honey, Pueraria lobata, chestnut, pepper, tea and other characteristic products are rich in forestry resources. The forest coverage rate of the whole township is 89.5%, which is known as "the hometown of forestry" and "the hometown of ecology".

Economic situation

The township has 13 forest tea farms. Among them, there are three township run forest farms and one township run tea farm, with a total area of 1000 mu. 9 village forest farms. It has 3 bases of dried fruits and medicinal materials. Among them, the chestnut base is 2000 mu, and the medicine base is 300 mu. The breeding industry is relatively developed, and pigs, cattle, sheep and chickens account for half of farmers' annual income.

It has 4 breeding bases. There is one Xiangxi cattle base, one high-quality goat base and one bee breeding base. The rapid development of labor economy accounts for 39% of the total income of farmers. In 2004, the gross national product of the township was 31.32 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 1858 yuan.

Luoshui town to build the first town of Tujia culture in Western Hunan

Luoshui Township, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province has invested nearly 300000 yuan in the Tujia residential demonstration area. The construction of the 300 meter long Tujia characteristic street in the market town has entered the finishing stage. The construction of Tujia residential demonstration area is an important content of Luoshui township to build "the first Tujia culture Township in Western Hunan".

In recent years, the Party committee and government of Luoshui Township take building the first Tujia culture Township in Western Hunan as the main work goal, make overall planning, and have achieved a series of results. In 2009, Zhangjiajie Maogusi Culture Communication Co., Ltd. was established. In 2010, a professional design company was employed to elaborate the planning of "popular science project of citizens' leisure and traditional culture". In order to attract investment, mingzhengyuan tea, a famous tea enterprise in China, came to yunchaoshan tea farm to set up a factory. Wanqilian village project is located in Daming and yunchaoshan villages, and giant salamander breeding project is located in Baizhu village.

First, agricultural culture experience area. Second, Tujia residential demonstration area.
