Shuangqiaoping Town
Shuangqiaoping Town is located in the northwest of Dingcheng District, bordering on Jinshi and Linli, belonging to the two major river basins of Yuanli. It is a typical hilly area with an altitude of 474-373.3. The rocks are granite and slate. The soil layer is about 1 meter thick. The humus layer of the soil is relatively thick. The soil is fertile and has good ventilation performance. The pH value is 5.5-8.0. The annual average temperature is 16.8 ℃ and the light period is 286 days. It is a subtropical monsoon climate with sufficient light and four distinct seasons. The town has a total land area of 107.41 square kilometers (2017), 16 administrative villages, 142 villager groups, 29765 people (2017), 40000 mu of mountain forest, 108 mu per capita. It is a typical hilly area with fertile soil. The town mainly produces high-quality rice, cotton, citrus, rape and other economic crops.
In 2015, Shuangqiaoping Town and dalongzhan town formed an organic system and merged to establish Shuangqiaoping Town.

Qunli reservoir, located in nongfuyan village, is the largest reservoir in the town. It can supply drought resistant water for tujiaping, Jinjiyan, nongfuyan, wutongan and other villages in dry season.
