Liuduzhai town

Liuduzhai town belongs to longhui County, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province. It is located in the middle of the county. It is known as "Zhaishang" and "zhaishi" in history. It is surrounded by Weiyuan lake and Chenhe River, with beautiful mountains and rivers. It is also surrounded by Mt. mizhu and overlooking Guanyin Village, with outstanding people. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, longhui was divided into eight capitals. This place was the six capitals. The surrounding mountains were mizhu village, Shifeng village, cucumbers village, Guanyin village, JINZI village and Tanjia village. Therefore, it was named Liudu village. The name of the town originated from this.

The administrative area of the town is 162.8 square kilometers, with 26183 mu of cultivated land, including 20802 mu of paddy field, 54 Village (neighborhood) committees, and a total population of 58791 (2017).

Liuduzhai is 31 kilometers away from the county seat. S219 provincial road passes through the county. It is connected with national highway 320 and shangrui Expressway in the south. It is the intersection of North-South transportation, logistics distribution center and economic and cultural sub center of longhui County. In 2004, it was designated as "national key construction town" by the Ministry of construction and other six ministries and commissions. In 2006, it was rated as "civilized town" by Shaoyang Municipal People's government. In 2008, it was rated as "provincial safe production demonstration town" by Hunan Provincial People's government.

Evolution of organizational system

Liudu village has been under the jurisdiction of Shaoyang since ancient times. In the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, it belonged to Chu, and Qin belonged to Changsha County.

Song Dynasty. Liu Yuanhui, the ninth grandson of Liu Yifu, one of the 15 families with the surname of Liu in Longhui, first came to Liudu village and settled down. He named this place "Saishang", then falsely called it "Zhaishang", and later called it "zhaishi".

Ming Dynasty. Saishi is designated as the sixth mile of Baoqing longhui.

In 1669, the eighth year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, saishigengli was called the capital of Liudu village.

In September 1928, the national government promulgated the organic law of counties, which was divided into three levels below the county level: District, Bao and a. There are 30 districts in Shaoyang County with 428 Baotou. Liudu village is Zhonghe district.

In January of the 18th year of the Republic of China, the so-called "local autonomy" was carried out in Shaoyang County. Shaoyang County was divided into 10 districts and 245 townships, with the number name of the district. Liudu village is Zhonghe township.

Zhaishi town was established in 1933.

In 1935, the 26th corps of the red army passed through liuduzhai.

On January 31, 1947, the executive yuan of Nanjing National Government approved the establishment of longhui County in eight townships of Shaoyang County, including longhui (later changed to Xinglong), Longzhong, Longzhi, Zhonghe, Guosheng, Xisheng, Baohe, and Taohong town. The county is governed by villages and towns. On July 13 of the same year, the party headquarters of longhui County of the Chinese Kuomintang was established in liuduzhai.

In 1949, the original Zhonghe Township, Longzhi Township and the western part of Guosheng Township were protected as the second district. At that time, there were three districts in Longhui County.

In April 1950, the county was divided into five districts, and liuduzhai is still the second district.

In 1951, the county was divided into 15 districts. Liudu village is the first district.

It was withdrawn in 1956. There are six offices in the county. Liuduzhai office has jurisdiction over 8 townships and towns including niaoshuxia, Qijiang, Liangli, Xishan, Dingshan, xingziping, Shitang and dashuitian.

In October 1958, the office and township system were abolished and liuduzhai people's commune was established. Zhaishi town was reduced to town brigade.

In 1962, the establishment of zhaishi Town, liuduzhai people's Commune and liuduzhai District Office were restored respectively.

In 1964, zhaishi town was renamed "liuduzhai town".

In 1985, liuduzhai township was merged into liuduzhai town.

In 1995, liuduzhai District Office was abolished. Dingshan Township and Xishan Township were merged into liuduzhai town.

By 2008, the town has achieved GDP of 581.58 million yuan, total industrial output value of 326.4 million yuan, social fixed asset investment of 132.5 million yuan, per capita net income of farmers of 1500 yuan, and total financial income of 7.189 million yuan.

Since 2006, according to the development idea of "demonstration driven, regional linkage and overall promotion", liuduzhai town has implemented the new rural regional co construction project, intensified the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure, and formally formed five major agricultural pillar industries of medicine, vegetables, livestock, tobacco and forestry; With Zhangjiapu village as the center, the construction of agricultural industrialization base with an area of 2100 Mu and an annual output of 6000 tons of tobacco has taken shape.

At present, the town has a paper industrial park with an annual output value of over 100 million yuan, two economic development districts, five large-scale enterprises, 18 key enterprises and 419 other enterprises. Liudu village is rich in products. The main agricultural products are rice, and the agricultural by-products are red Ru, soybean, pepper, citrus, tea, live pig, fresh fish, bamboo, wood, etc. The forest volume is more than 50 cubic meters, with an annual output of 25000 cubic meters of commercial timber. The fruit trees are mainly citrus, covering an area of more than 2500 mu, with an output of 50000-80000 Dan. Livestock production is mainly pig raising. There are four shopping malls in the town, namely supply and marketing, Chenhe, Zhufeng and Huayuan, and liuduzhai Economic Community approved by the provincial government. The economic zone is mainly for market trade and development of private enterprises, covering an area of 92.78 mu, with a planned investment of 10 million yuan. After its completion in 1998, liuduzhai town will become the North-South material distribution center of longhui County. There are 612 individual industrial and commercial households, with sales of more than 20 million yuan in 1995. The town area of liuduzhai town is 3.5 square kilometers. Liudu reservoir

There is also liuduzhai reservoir, a key water conservancy project in the town, with a total investment of 270 million yuan. It can irrigate 400000 mu of farmland and has comprehensive functions such as flood control, power generation, fish culture and tourism. The capacity of the reservoir is 120 million cubic meters, and the waterway within the reservoir is 35 kilometers, which leads directly to the former residence of Wei Yuan, a thinker in the late Qing Dynasty.
