Liuyanghe Street

Liuyanghe street, belonging to Kaifu District of Changsha City, Hunan Province, is a new street established in September 2013 in accordance with the new round of zoning adjustment of Kaifu District in line with the urbanization development situation of Changsha City in the new century. The street extends to the second ring road in the East, Laodao River in the north, Furong North Road in the West and Liuyang River in the south. It covers an area of about 5.9 square kilometers and has a permanent population of about 20000. It has jurisdiction over Shuanghe community, chenjiadu community, shijiapo community, maojialong community, fuyuanlu community and Laohu water conservancy management office. Historical evolution

Liuyang River Street is named after Liuyang River, an important tributary of Xiangjiang River. Liuyanghe Street belonged to Laohu Township, Huichun District, Changsha City in 1951, Hongshan Township, suburb of Changsha City in 1956, and Taiyangsheng advanced agricultural society of Hongshan Township established Changsha state-owned comprehensive farm in 1957. In 1996, it was assigned to Kaifu District. In the same year, on the basis of Changsha state-owned comprehensive farm, Changsha Hongshan Tourist Area Administration Bureau was established, with two brands and one set of people. In 2005, the administration of Hongshan tourist area was renamed as Hongshan administration, and Hongshan sub district office was established. As an agency of the district Party committee and the government, it worked together with Hongshan administration. The leaders held cross positions and entrusted with administrative authority. At the same time, it retained the brand of comprehensive farm and continued to perform the function of collective economic organization of agricultural reclamation. In 2013, the whole district was adjusted to set up Liuyanghe street from Hongshan street.

Chenjiadu community
