Yanghu Street

Yanghu street, belonging to Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, is located in the south of Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. It is the core area of Yanghu new town, Xiangjiang New District, Hunan Province.

Yanghu Street covers an area of 23.88 square kilometers, with a total population of about 25000. There are three administrative villages (Yanghu village, Lianshan village and Lantian Village) and three community residents committees (Baimiaozi community, Xinsheng community and Shantang community).

Yanghu street is located at the important junction of Changsha's "West extension and South extension", which is the starting area and core area of Xiangjiang new area. The "three horizontal and three vertical" road framework in the area has been formed, and the planned metro lines 3, 7 and 8 run through the whole area. The streets are only 25 minutes, 5 minutes and 10 minutes away from Huanghua Airport, changtanxi, changshaolou and Beijing Hong Kong Macao Expressway respectively.

The origin of the name

The street is named after the Yanghu embankment in its jurisdiction, and has been built into Yanghu Wetland Park. Yanghu embankment is a wetland at the entrance of Jinjiang River to Xiangjiang River, which was named "waguankou" in ancient times. Jinjiang River is a tributary of Xiangjiang River. It is named after Jin Shang's cemetery. Jin Shang was a senior official of the state of Chu. It is said that he colluded with Zheng Xiu, the favorite imperial concubine of King Huai of Chu, and framed Qu Yuan, a loyal minister, thus leaving him a reputation for generations.

Evolution of organizational system

In 1951, it belonged to Yanghu Township, and in 1958, it belonged to Pingtang people's commune. In 1962, it belonged to Pingtang District of Changsha County. In January 1978, the system of Wangcheng County was restored, belonging to Pingtang town of Wangcheng County. On June 15, 2008, Pingtang town was established from Wangcheng County to Yuelu District. On August 3, 2012, the town was replaced by Pingtang street. On January 18, 2013, Pingtang street was divided into two streets: Yanghu and Pingtang. Yanghu street has three communities: Pingtang community, Baimiaozi community and Xinsheng community, and four villages: Yanghu village, Lianshan village, Lantian village and Shantang village. In 2016, Shantang community was established after the merger of Shantang village and Xiangping community.

Longgu Temple community

it is located in the northeast area of the street, covering an area of 0.61 square kilometers. It is named after the old name of longlongsi pumping station. The community is adjacent to Jinjiang River in the north, qiangyou road in the South (former Central Avenue), Xiangjiang River in the East (Xiaoxiang Avenue) and Pingtang Avenue in the West. On the west side is the "natural green lung" Yang Lake Wetland Park, with beautiful environment, network road pattern, Jin River winding, close to the Xiangjiang River, convenient transportation and all directions. The buildings and units in the area mainly include Vanke Bailu County, herneng Yanghu residence phase I, Hengwei xiyayun, yaheyuan, oaks real estate project, Hengwei Xiangjiang times, Baining Diwang Plaza and Baining Hotel, and baijiazhou in the East. The total land area of each building and unit is 336700 m2, the total construction area is 922409 m2, and the total planning construction area is 1226721 m2. The total number of real estate is about 4325, with an estimated population of more than 13000. Yuezhenghan No.29, Yuelu District People's Government of Changsha City, established the Longmen Temple community residents committee, and the street Working Committee approved the establishment of the Longmen Temple Community Party branch. There are 20 party members directly in charge. At present, there are 8 full-time cadres and staff of the two committees in the community. The community office building is located in some stores on the first floor of Building 2 and the whole floor of building 3 of Vanke bailujun, covering an area of more than 500 m2, and the lower floor of building 6 of HENGWEI xiyayun, covering an area of 300 m2, with convenient transportation and significant location, which is convenient for communication, negotiation and work docking. New community

established in October 2003, it is a unit community mainly composed of police and family members of employees in Pingtang reeducation through labor center in Hunan Province. It covers an area of 0.602176 square kilometers, with 3218 residents and 1209 households. The main unit in the community, the provincial Pingtang reeducation through labor center, is a department level institution under the jurisdiction of the reeducation through labor bureau of the Provincial Department of justice. It is mainly engaged in the education, probation and rescue of some reeducation through labor and drug rehabilitation students in the whole province, and the production, operation and sales of niuli concrete, a provincial quality inspection free product.

Baimiaozi community

established in 1997, it is located in the southwest of Yanghu street, covering an area of about 3.5 square kilometers. The community has a permanent population of more than 3000 people, with six resident groups, 67 party members in the community party branch and six community staff. There are 6 enterprises in the area, such as building materials, mechanical processing, furniture manufacturing, medium-sized catering and so on. The working places of finance, insurance, court, traffic control, traffic police, middle school and sub district office are all within the jurisdiction. There are two residential areas, namely "watermarked Washington" and "Jiangbin Homestead", which have been built; the residential areas of Sanhuan Real Estate Co., Ltd. and Changsha Zhongxing Real Estate Co., Ltd. are under preparation. There are Xiaoxiang scenery belt, South Xiaoxiang Road, Pingtang Avenue and Lianping Avenue crisscross in the area, with convenient transportation and nearly 100 shops.

Shantang community

it is a new community established after the merger of yuanshantang village and Xiangping community in 2016, with a population of 6499, including more than 3000 floating population. There are 21 pure resident groups and 3 empty hanging groups. There are 6 party members and 13 party groups, with a total of 193 members.

Yanghu Village

It has 21 villager groups, 1318 households and 3528 members. The branch has 6 party groups and 103 members. It is located between Xiangfu road bridge and heishipu bridge, on the West Bank of Xiangjiang River and in the south of Jinjiang River. It has abundant water resources and convenient transportation. Yanghu village is the headquarters economic zone of the great Hexi pilot area, and Yanghu Wetland Park is the largest urban wetland park in Central China.

Lianshan Village

Located in the north of Yanghu street, the third ring road passes through the village in the South and Xiaoxiang Avenue in the East, with convenient land and water transportation and prominent location advantages. Most of the land is within the Third Ring Road, which is an important core area of the great Hexi pilot area and the main battlefield for the development of Yanghu Wetland Park and headquarters economic zone. With a total area of 4.12 square kilometers and a cultivated land area of 1884 mu, the village has 15 villager groups, more than 1000 households and 3153 people. The branch has 5 party groups with 133 party members. Among them, there are 94 male party members, accounting for 70.6% of the total number of Party members, and 39 female party members, accounting for 29.4% of the total number of Party members.

Blue sky Village

located in the core area of the great Hexi pilot area, it is located in the center of Yanghu Wetland Park. It is adjacent to Xiangjiang River in the East, Pingtang town and chutianxing Cultural Park in the south, Jin River in the northwest, and Yuelu science and Technology Industrial Park. The third ring road passes through the village from east to west. The village has 28 villager groups, a total of 1579 households, 5108 people and 193 CPC members. The total area is 7.8 square kilometers, and the per capita income of farmers is 9500 yuan.
