Zhaoxiyuan Forest Farm

Zhaoxiyuan forest farm is rich in forest resources. It was founded in 1958. It is located at the junction of Xiantao City and Qianjiang City, 40 kilometers away from Xiantao City. It is known as "little Hainan" and "little Xishuangbanna". Of the 11000 Mu area, 8950 Mu are forests.

< br > there are more than 100 kinds of precious ornamental plants such as Ginkgo biloba, camphor, cherry blossom, camellia, and more than 10 kinds of first and second class protected animals such as mandarin duck, Little Swan, egret, owl, etc. Throughout the year, the flowers are always in bloom and the scenery is always new. In early spring, crisp rain drips green and full of vitality; in midsummer, dense trees cover the sky and block out the sun; in autumn, Osmanthus fragrans is fragrant and red leaves are brilliant; in winter, wintersweet is in full bloom. The forest farm is a good place for sightseeing, fishing and hunting.
"Nature is more important than effort, direction is more important than speed." In recent years, zhaoxiyuan forest farm has continuously strengthened the concept of ecological wealth, seized the opportunity of national policy, and strived for more than 10 million yuan of project funds. It has improved the infrastructure of the forest farm, maintained the original ecology of the forest farm, built 1500 mu of flower and seedling base with high standards, and has been approved as the provincial bird and animal nature reserve and provincial forest park. In June 2013, the Provincial Youth League Committee, the Provincial Department of education and the Provincial Department of forestry jointly identified Zhao Xiyuan as the "ecological civilization education base of the whole province".
