Santan scenic spot

National 4A scenic area. Located in Daguisi National Forest Park, Guangshui City, Hubei Province, Santan scenic spot is one of the national forest trails. It is 35 kilometers north of Guangshui city and 37 kilometers north of Xinyang, Henan Province. The scenic area covers an area of 52 square kilometers. There are four tourist areas and 35 tourist spots, namely Santan, gaoguishan Jinding, Xujiachong reservoir and pingjingguan ancient plank road. The climate of the scenic spot is unique and pleasant. In summer, the highest temperature is 34 degrees in the daytime and 20-25 degrees at night. The scenic area is rich in products. Santan mineral water is a kind of natural mineral water. Gynostemma pentaphyllum tea can prevent and treat cancer.

Three passes in the north of Chu

Wushengguan, pingjingguan and huangtouguan, which are located in the north of Guangshui, were called "three passes in the north of Chu" in ancient times. They are dangerous passes formed naturally at the junction of Northern Hubei and southern Henan by Dabie Mountain and Tongbai mountain. They are magnificent and magnificent. The scenic Xujiahe reservoir area is an ideal place for people to swim, fish and summer. In 1997, it was listed as a key scenic spot by the province. The rhyme of three pools

Santan scenic spot is famous for its steep mountains, lush forests and clear streams and springs. The main peak, Dagui mountain, is 908 meters above sea level. The unique and profound "Rhyme of the three pools" can be regarded as a unique one. The three cascades fly down from the "a line of sky" and are praised as "a show in the Central Plains". There are yanggongling, where Yang Lian, the Ming Dynasty's martyr, died, Dagui mountain's golden roof, Dagui temple's stone pagoda and so on. In 2002, it was rated as national AA scenic spot. Beautiful Dajian River, flowing water, newly built footpath, winding and elegant bamboo bridge, trestle bridge, wooden bridge, stone arch bridge, Tingquan Pavilion and Zhonglie pavilion have their own characteristics. Mountains, water, roads, pavilions and bridges complement each other.

Qingtan Garden

With a total area of more than 2000 mu, it is the largest Green Sandalwood forest in China identified by academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, known as "the first Green Sandalwood garden in China". The tree is over 1000 years old and about 1 meter in diameter, which is also very rare in China.

Longpan Village

Longpanzhai has a long history and has always been regarded as a Buddhist holy land. There are the golden roof of Dagui temple, which is high and precipitous in Song Dynasty, the ancestral hall which is made of stone and worships Zhenwu statue, Qianming temple, the first Buddhist temple, Longpan village, the ancient camp of red scarf army in the late Yuan Dynasty, the majestic Hall of Daxiong, and the wonders in the clouds, such as "Little Turtle record you" and "turtle back golden roof".

Gaogui Santan

Gaoguishan gorge, more than 20 kilometers north of Guangshui City, is gaoguisantan. Three natural stone pools are arranged from the bottom of the gorge from west to East. Its "Rhyme of three pools" can be regarded as a unique one. The waterfalls are circuitous and triple, the cliffs are suspended, the clouds are growing, the fog is blowing, and the water is pouring down. This pool is deep and quiet. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. It is a summer resort. Because the two walls of the canyon are cut, the mountain peaks are towering, and the "a line of sky" can be seen at the bottom of the pool.

Yang Gongling

There is also yanggongling, where Yang Lian, the Ming Dynasty's martyr, lies, 30 kilometers north of Guangshui City, in Zhaobi Bay. Yang Lian (1572-1625) was born in Yingshan (now Guangshui, Hubei Province). Ming Dynasty minister, Wanli Jinshi, tired official to the left Deputy censor. At the beginning of Chongzhen period, he was the prince, Taibao, and Minister of the Ministry of war. He was posthumously named zhongliegong and wrote the collection of Yang Dahong.
