Hugezhuang Town, belonging to LUANNAN COUNTY, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of LUANNAN COUNTY, bordering yaowangzhuang town in the East, Tuoli town in the south, bogezhuang town in the west, sigezhuang town and Fangezhuang town in the north, with an administrative area of 67.52 square kilometers.
In May 1946, it belonged to five and six districts of LUANNAN COUNTY; in July 1984, Hugezhuang township was removed from township to town; in April 1989, gaozhuangzi township was merged; in February 2002, xiwantuo administrative region was merged. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Huzhuang township was 35264. As of June 2020, Hugezhuang town has jurisdiction over 33 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Hugezhuang town is located at 510 Yucai Road, donghugezhuang village.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Hugezhuang town was 8.41 million yuan, an increase of 199.9% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 2.38 million yuan, an increase of 102.4% over the previous year. The per capita fiscal revenue was 233.2 yuan, an increase of 199.8% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 21 industrial enterprises in Hugezhuang Town, including one above scale and 57 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In May 1946, it belonged to five and six districts of LUANNAN COUNTY.
In May 1953, it was named Hugezhuang township.
In July 1954, it was transferred to 12 districts of Luanxian county.
In September 1958, the township was withdrawn, belonging to Hongguang people's commune.
In November 1958, it was transferred to leting County as Hugezhuang people's commune.
In 1963, it belonged to LUANNAN COUNTY.
In May 1984, the people's commune was abolished and Hugezhuang township was established.
In July 1984, Hugezhuang township was set up as a town.
In April 1989, gaozhuangzi township was incorporated.
In January 1996, xiwantuo township was abolished and xiwantuo office was set up.
In April 1996, the office was changed into a management area, and xiwantuo management area was managed by Hugezhuang town.
In February 2002, xiwantuo management area was merged into the central government.
