Dongwang town

Dongwang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dingzhou City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of Dingzhou City, adjacent to Anguo City in the East, dongliuchun Township in the south, Dongting town in the west, Daxinzhuang town in the north, with a maximum distance of 5 km from east to west and 9.12 km from north to south, covering a total area of 44.25 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of Dong Wang town registered residence was 33586.

In 1961, Dongwang commune was established. In 1982, it was transferred to Dongwang township. In 1994, Dongwang township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, Dongwang town has 16 village committees and the people's Government of the town is located in Dongwang village.

In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Dongwang town was 328.42 million yuan, the per capita net income of farmers was 5783 yuan, and the total industrial output value was 37.6 million yuan.
