Xijiadian town

Xijiadian town is subordinate to Danjiangkou City, Hubei Province, with a population of 36313 (2017) and an area of 309.33 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 1 neighborhood committee and 29 village committees: Xijiadian, Qingtang, zhujiayuan, zhuangzigou, xiaofuling, Xinghua, majiayuan, Fuling, Chenjiawan, zhaizigou, Xiajiao, fenggou, Majiagou, laojundian, dingjiayuan, Longkou, Dabai, Banqiao, wulongchi, Lijiawan, xingdoupo, zuojiao, Aihe, caojiadian, wafangcao, yangyuhe, Shiziping, daotianping and Youping View.

On September 24, 2019, Xijiadian town (Citrus) was selected into the list of the ninth batch of national "one village, one product" demonstration villages and towns.

In July 2020, it won the honorary title of national health Township from 2017 to 2019.

Location

Xijiadian town is located at the North Bank of Danjiangkou reservoir and the junction of Hubei and Henan provinces, which is the source of the middle route of South to North Water Diversion Project. The whole town integrates mountainous area, Sichuan district and reservoir area, and is the economic, cultural, transportation and business center of Jiangbei area in Danjiangkou City.
