Located in the northeast corner of Yunxi County, Shiyan City, Hubei Province, it is 61 kilometers away from the county seat. The northeast, North and northwest are adjacent to Shiliping, bailuchi and Yanma townships of Shangnan and Shanyang counties in Shaanxi Province, with an average altitude of 950 meters and a territory area of 143 square kilometers. It governs 5 administrative villages and 19 villager groups. In May 2001, the former sanguandong Township abolished the new township level administrative region.
