FASI Street

FASI street is located in the southwest of Jiangxia District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It is close to Panwan Town, Jiayu County, Xianning City. Jinshui River runs through the whole town and is 46 kilometers away from Zhifang street in the northeast. It is a marginal town in Jiangxia District.

FASI Street governs 22 administrative villages, 1 community, 208 villager groups, 7040 households and 30550 people, all of whom are Han nationality.

Historical evolution

FASI street was originally named fasizhou. In its early years, it was a marsh land with few people. It was surrounded by water on three sides and silted up. It was a convention for ships to dock in Jinshui River. The usage of words was legal. The wave of the lake fluctuates with the wind, and the wave water is like Si, so it is named fasizhou. Whether it is exact or not is unknown. Later it is called FASI for short, and it is still used today. After the Jinshui sluice was built in 1933, the water level dropped, and a lot of lakes and plains appeared. From then on, people from all over the world moved here one after another to work as farmers, set up shops and do business, and became a natural town. After liberation, the people's political power was established in Sisi Township, which was subordinate to the third district of Wuchang County, namely MafA district. In 1952, FASI district was established, with jurisdiction over one town and 13 townships. In 1954, it was changed into FASI Management District, which was subordinate to Jinkou district. In 1956, it was renamed FASI township of Jinkou district. In 1958, it was changed into FASI commune of Jinkou District when the people's commune was transformed. In 1963, it was reduced and divided into FASI, LingMi and Shiling communes. In 1971, it was still restored FASI commune is directly under the county. It was changed into FASI township of Wuchang County in 1983, FASI town of Wuchang County in 1986, and FASI town of Jiangxia District in 1996. on March 5, 2012, Hubei Provincial Department of Civil Affairs agreed to cancel FASI town in Jiangxia District of Wuhan city with No.15 Reply of Hubei Provincial Department of Civil Affairs on canceling FASI town in Jiangxia District of Wuhan city. On March 27, Wuhan Civil Affairs Bureau approved the establishment of FASI sub district office based on No. 52 of Wuhan Civil Affairs Bureau, the reply of Civil Affairs Bureau on revoking the establishment of FASI sub district office in FASI Town, Jiangxia District.

climatic conditions

The climate of the whole region is cold in winter and hot in summer with four distinct seasons. The annual average temperature is about 16 ℃, the average temperature in winter (January) is 3 ℃, the average temperature in summer (July) is 30 ℃, the frost free period of the whole year is about 260 days from mid March to early December, and the annual average rainfall is about 1200mm.
