Qingling Street
Qingling street is located in Hongshan District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It is adjacent to Hongshan street in the East, Jiangxia District in the south, Yangtze River in the West and Zhangjiawan street in the north.

It is named after Qingling lake and Qingling temple. In the early days of liberation, there were eight townships, namely, Fulin, Baisha, nanmu, Qingling, Huayuan, Shizui, Laoqiao and Yangsi. Fulin, Baisha and nanmu are under the jurisdiction of Wutai District, the eighth district and Nanhu District, respectively; Qingling township is under the jurisdiction of Zhifang District, Wuchang County; Shizui, Huayuan, Laoqiao and Yangsi townships are under the jurisdiction of Jinkou District, Wuchang county. In November 1953, nanmu Township and Baisha Township were merged into nanmu township. In March 1955, the five townships of Qingling, Huayuan, Shizui, Laoqiao and Yangsi were transferred from Wuchang county to Wuhan city; soon, the three townships of Fulin, nanmu and Qingling were merged into Changqing Township, which was under the jurisdiction of Nanhu District and Hongshan District; Huayuan and Shizui were merged into Huayuan Township, and Laoqiao and Yangsi were merged into Shizui Township, which was under the jurisdiction of Nanhu District. In May 1956, Huayuan Township and Shizui Township were merged into Changjiang Township under the jurisdiction of Hongshan District. In August 1958, the two townships of Changqing and Changjiang merged into Changqing commune, which took the first word of the names of the two townships and was under the jurisdiction of Wuhan city; in December of the same year, Changqing commune was renamed Qingling commune. In July 1960, it was changed into Qingling branch, under the jurisdiction of Wuchang City commune. In March 1961, Qingling branch was changed into Qingling District, under which there were two branches, Qingling and Shizui, under the jurisdiction of Wuchang District. In August of the same year, Qingling district was abolished, and Qingling and Shizui communes were directly under the jurisdiction of Wuchang District. In July 1964, Qingling and Shizui communes were put under the jurisdiction of Hongshan District. In February 1975, Shizui commune was merged into Qingling commune. It was changed to Qingling Township in January 1984. In 1994, Qingling Township and Zhangjiawan Street office. In 1996, Qingling Township covers an area of 92 square kilometers and has a population of 44000. It governs 21 administrative villages, including HengDi, Huojian, Yangsi, Jintang, Laoqiao, Shizui, Yanglin, Xiwan, Jianyang, Huayuan, Jianqun, Jianhe, Changjiang, Changzheng, Fenghuo, Guangxia, Maotan, Shengli, Qingling, fishery and Hongxia. In 2004, the township government was stationed in Zhangjiawan, with a population of 23939 and an area of 63.8 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 21 administrative villages, including HengDi, rocket, Jintang, Yangsi, Shizui, Laoqiao, Yanglin, Xiwan, Jianyang, Huayuan, Jianqun, Jianhe, Changjiang, Changzheng, Fenghuo, Guangxia, Maotan, Shengli, Qingling, fishery and Hongxia. In 2005, with a population of 24986, it has jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages including HengDi, rocket, Jintang, Yangsi, Shizui, Laoqiao, Yanglin, Xiwan, Jianyang, Huayuan, Jianqun, Jianhe, Changjiang River, Long March, Fenghuo, Guangxia, Maotan, Shengli, Qingling, fishery and Hongxia. in November 2010, Qingling township was abolished, and two streets, Qingling and Zhangjiawan, were set up within the jurisdiction of the former Qingling township (Zhangjiawan Street), with the Third Ring Road as the boundary, and the south of the Third Ring Road as the jurisdiction of Qingling street, which governs horticulture, Hongxia, Qingling, fishery, Jianhe five communities and HengDi, rocket, Jintang, Yanglin, Xiwan, Yangsi, Shizui, Laoqiao, Jianyang, Huayuan, Jianhe Group 11 villages.
