Qinshan Street

Qinshan street is named after Qinshan mountain. It is located on the rich Hangjiahu Plain in Haiyan County, Zhejiang Province. It is close to the mountains and the sea. The terrain is flat, the land is fertile, the four seasons are distinct, and the products are abundant. Qinshan Avenue and Liupingshen waterway run through the north and south ends of the town. It is 92 km from Hangzhou in the South and 118 km from Shanghai in the north. The traffic is convenient. The town covers an area of 56.9 square kilometers and has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages, 3 neighborhood committees and 36746 people (2010). Qinshan nuclear power station, China's first self-designed nuclear power station, is located in its territory.

The key three industry projects approved by the street include the construction of two 5000 DWT wharves of Qiantang Port Logistics Co., Ltd. and the 5.11 km river widening construction of the County Transportation Investment Co., Ltd. the preparatory work of the project has been basically completed, and is in the stage of land measurement and calculation. It is expected that the river and logistics base will be completed within this year. The fourth nuclear power center project planned and designed by Wuhan 105 Research Institute entrusted by CNNC, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan, is located in Qingfeng Village of our town. Our town cooperates with the planning, site selection and other preparatory work of the project. The land acquisition and relocation of 600 mu has entered the evaluation stage, and all preparatory work has been basically completed, striving to start the construction of the first center within this year. Jiaxing Xixi vegetable garden fruit and vegetable professional cooperative, established in 2009 with newly introduced capital from Shanghai, registered 5 million yuan and invested 20 million yuan in the first phase. It plans to transfer 2000 mu of land (more than 200 mu have been transferred). It is mainly engaged in agricultural planting, processing, sales, field development and high-end leisure club operation and service.
