Xihuaying town

Xihuaying town is located at the junction of Taikang, Fugou, Huaiyang and Xihua counties, 25 kilometers away from Xihua county. Xihuaying town is adjacent to wulikou Township in Taikang County in the southeast, xunmokou town in Taikang County in the northeast, niedui town and Dongxia town in the southwest and Southeast, and Banqiao Town in Taikang County in the north. It is the birthplace of the legend of Ding Lan's carving wood for relatives, one of the "twenty four filial piety" in ancient times. It is a civilized town at the municipal level, a town of culture and art in Henan Province, and a famous town in Zhongzhou. Daguang Expressway and Yongdeng expressway, provincial highway Wuhuang road and Yuhong Road pass through the area.

Historical evolution

In the old days, Xihua and Huaiyang counties were in charge of it, which was named xihuaiying. After 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Xihua county and renamed xihuaying. Xihuaying commune was established in 1965 and changed to town in 1984. In 1997, it covers an area of 47.8 square kilometers and has a population of 55000.
