Wacheng street is located in the southwest of Xihua county, Zhoukou City, adjacent to Xiaoyao road in the East, Huangqiao Township in the west, chiying Township in the south, Changping Road and Kunshan Road in the north. It is named after the landmark "Nuwa Butian" statue. It covers an area of 8.13 square kilometers and 3011 mu of cultivated land.

Historical evolution

Wa city has a long history. According to records, Xiong Tong, king of Chu, built the city here in the spring and Autumn period. There is a cultural site of late Shang and Zhou Dynasties and Han Dynasty in the archaeological discovery area.

Chengguan town of Xihua county was set up in 1956, changed to commune in 1958, restored to town in 1961, restored to commune in 1975, and changed to town in 1984. On August 13, 2009, Chengguan town was abolished and wacheng street was established.
