Chenbei Street

Chenbei street, originally under the jurisdiction of Fenyang City, Shanxi Province, was withdrawn in March 2019 and merged into taiheqiao street.

The former Chenbei street is located in the north of Fenyang City, with an area of 13 square kilometers and a total population of more than 30000 people (in 2018). Before its revocation, it together with taiheqiao street, Wenfeng street, Nanxun street and Xihe Street constituted Fenyang City.

Name source

Chen, the fifth member of the dizhi, refers to 7:00 to 9:00 in the morning, which means that he is young and energetic. North is the north, which also refers to Beiguan. There are Chenbei group and Chenbei Road, so it is named.

Historical evolution

In August 2011, Fenyang City re divided the urban streets and set up the Preparatory Committee of Chenbei street. Chenbei street is under the jurisdiction of Xingfu street community, Beiguan village, beiguanyuan village and zichengfang village in the former taiheqiao street, beikuo village, mijiazhuang village and Guxian village in the former jiajiazhuang town and Fenyang college community of Shanxi Medical University.

In March 2019, Chenbei Street will be merged into taiheqiao street.

geographical environment

The original Chenbei street is located in the northern core area of Fenyang City. Taking Chenbei road as the central axis, it borders yudaohe Town, jiajiazhuang Town, xiaojiazhuang Town, Wenfeng street, taiheqiao street and Xihe Street clockwise from the north. It covers an area of 13 square kilometers, with a total cultivated land area of more than 9900 mu. In 2018, the population of the area is about 30000, including more than 11000 agricultural population.

There are Yongle Park and five Buddha building in the area. The area has convenient transportation, including Fenjiu Avenue, Xueyuan Road, Chenbei Road, Dongbei Road, Fumin North Road, Shengli Street, Xingfu street, Yingcai street and Qingcheng street.
