Huaihe street is located in the northwest of Xi county, Henan Province, bounded by laoxibao road and Wuyi community of Longhu street in the East, qiaolou street in the south, Heying community of qiaolou street in the West and wangdatang village, Shuanghe village and longmiao village of Lukou Township in the north. It is 4.5 kilometers wide from east to west, 6 kilometers long from north to south, covering an area of 30.84 square kilometers and nearly 40000 mu of arable land.

On August 31, 2012, Henan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs (yuminxingpi No. 27) replied: with the approval of the people's Government of Henan Province, the administrative divisions of Xi county were approved to make the following adjustments: first, the Chengguan town and Chengjiao Township were abolished, and the urban management system was implemented in their original administrative areas. 2、 The Heying village in Sunmiao township will be brought into urban management. 3、 Qiaolou, Longhu and Huaihe subdistrict offices were set up.
