Zhanglixiang

Zhangli township is located 40 kilometers northwest of Huaibin County in Henan Province. It is the junction of the three counties. It borders Xincai County in the northeast, ganglidian Township and Baoxin town in Xi county in the west, and fanghu town in the southeast. Zhangli Township, with a total area of 60 square kilometers, governs 12 administrative villages and 166 villager groups, with a cultivated area of more than 47000 mu, including more than 15000 mu of forest land, and a total annual grain output of 32849 tons. As of 2017, the total population was 31168. In 2005, the total grain output was 10552 tons, cotton 294 tons, oil 860 tons, known as Zhangli cedar Town, Huaibin "northwest frontier".

In December 2020, the people's Government of Huaibin County awarded Zhangli Township People's government the honorary title of "2020 land greening acceleration action to build forest Huaibin excellent township".

Historical evolution

It belonged to fanghu District in 1949, fanghu commune in 1958, Zhangli commune in 1960, fanghu commune in 1962, Zhangli commune in 1974 and township in 1983.

In 1997, it covers an area of 60 square kilometers and has a population of 31000. It governs 12 administrative villages including Zhangli, dingzhai, xuzhai, hezhai, qizhai, Wuzhai, malau, chenhoulou, balichen, Wangzhuyuan, zhuqianlou and zhushuanglou.

In 2005, it has an area of 60 square kilometers, 166 villager groups and a total population of 36000. It has 12 administrative villages, including Wangzhuyuan village, balichen village, chenhoulou village, zhuqianlou village, zhushuanglou village, Malou village, dingzhai village, qizhai village, xuzhai village, Wuzhai village, hezhai village and Zhangli Village.

Characteristic industry

Planting cedar in Zhangli Township began at the end of 2016. After experts from Henan Agricultural University tested the soil, they found that the soil and climate in Zhangli Township were particularly suitable for the growth of cedar. Under the leadership of returned entrepreneurs, the township started planting cedar. The township has established the "party building alliance and ten industry alliance" of cedar characteristic industry in Huaibin County. The cedar industry has developed rapidly. Famous specialty

Zhangli township is a famous sweet potato planting Township in Huaibin County. As a leading agricultural industry, sweet potato has become a golden knot for Zhangli villagers to increase their income and become rich. At the same time, more than ten industries, such as Agaricus bisporus, live pig, cattle, goat, lion head goose, banana sweet potato, pumpkin, cat claw grass, wormwood, Catalpa bungei, Broussonetia papyrifera, have sprung up.

Longgang project

Longgang is an artificially excavated canal, which was built in 1974. It has always been the link between the East and west water systems and the lifeblood of agricultural production. It has played an irreplaceable role in the economic and social development of the whole township. Due to years of neglect of management, it has become a seriously polluted stinky ditch.

Since 2019, with Longgang desilting as the axis, the Longgang project has been dredged for 11.8 km; the matching of canals, bridges, pipes and culverts has been implemented, and the water system project has been unblocked for 53.8 km; more than 1000 ponds and ditches in each village group have been renovated. At the same time, focusing on the construction of Longgang ecological corridor, wind trees and industrial forests have been planted along the coast, creating more than 1200 mu of ecological corridor along the coast of Longgang.

More than 100 villagers have signed long-term employment contracts with the cooperative, which not only solves the problem of re employment of farmers, but also solves the problem of insufficient employment of owners.

Zhangli Township actively provides information communication, price evaluation, contract signing, dispute mediation and other services for both sides of land circulation, which promotes the smooth progress of land circulation.
