Yiyang street is located in Huangchuan County, Henan Province. It is one of the four streets in Huangchuan County. It was originally a part of Chengguan town of Huangchuan County, guarding the east gate and South Gate of Huangchuan city. It was approved by the provincial government in April 2004. It is adjacent to shanpisi town in the East, Tandian Township in the north, Baidian Township in the south, Laocheng street in the West and Dingcheng street across the river. It has jurisdiction over "one residence eight villages", namely: Dongguan Street neighborhood committee, Jianguo village, Jinxing village, liudixing village, shahedian village, Qiligang village, wangxiangpu village, luoxinlou village, baliping village, 174 villager groups, with a total population of 38922 (2010), a total area of 42.28 square kilometers, and 11 schools of various types.

General situation

According to the records of Huangchuan County annals, Huangchuan was called Guangguo in ancient times, Yiyang County was set up in Han Dynasty, Yiyang County was set up in the Three Kingdoms, and ling4 counties were set up. In 581 ad (the first year of Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty), Yiyang County unified Dingcheng, Guangshan, Yincheng, Gushi, Qisi and Le'an. In 620 ad (the third year of Wude, Emperor Gaozu of Tang Dynasty), Yiyang County was changed to Guangzhou. During the period of the Republic of China, the state county was abandoned and changed to Huangchuan County. The south city was called Yiyang Town, and the north city was called Chunshen town. In February 1949, Yiyang and Chunshen were merged into Chengguan town.
