Taiyuan town
Taiyuan town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hengyang County, Hengyang City, Hunan Province, is located in the middle of Hengyang County. It is adjacent to Shanqiao town in the East, Xidu town in the south, Lanlong town in the west, Chang'an Township and Zhajiang town in the north, with an administrative area of 118.95 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Taiyuan town was 60653.
In October 1949, it belonged to the Fifth District of Hengyang County. In May 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into Taiyuan township. In September 1958, it belonged to Dongfanghong and Guangming people's communes. In November 1961, the branch was divided into districts and set up Taiyuan commune, belonging to Taiyuan district. In May 1984, taiyuansi town was established. In May 1995, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and the name was changed to Taiyuan town. As of June 2020, Taiyuan town has one community and 20 administrative villages.

History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, it was Zixia township.
In October 1949, it belonged to the Fifth District of Hengyang County.

As of June 2020, Taiyuan town has one community and 20 administrative villages: Taiyuan Temple community, Taijiu village, Jiushi village, Fuxi village, Huatan village, Lianxing village, Huajiang village, Changtang village, Zixia village, donghusi village, Qianjin village, Shimin village, Dongyang village, Dongcheng village, Panjiang village, Sanhe Village, gaozhen village, Jiangshan village, qunxiang village, Sanxin village and Xinfu village. The town people's government is stationed in Taiwan Yuansi community.
