Popihe town

Located in Guangshan County, Xinyang City, Henan Province, popihe town was built in the Yuan Dynasty and was the capital of South Shuozhou in ancient times. It has a total area of 142 square kilometers (2017) and a population of 54250 (2017). Within the territory of Pohe reservoir, yuanwan reservoir, Yongji bridge, Zhonggulou parent-child paradise and other scenic spots. Beijing Kowloon Railway and Daguang Expressway run through the north and south.

Pubihe town was built in Yuan Dynasty and called "bobidian" in Ming Dynasty. It has a history of more than 700 years.

In 1957, pubihe commune was set up. In 1983, it was changed to a township. In 1985, it was set up as a town.

Yongji Bridge

Wanjin bridge, also known as Wanjin bridge, was built in 1622 of the Ming Dynasty. It is 101 meters long from north to South and 7 meters wide from east to west. It is the longest and largest ancient arch stone bridge in Henan Province. In 2000, it was announced as the third batch of cultural relics protection units in Henan Province by the people's Government of Henan Province.

Ming and Qing Street

Located in the old street of popihe Town, it is more than 2000 meters long from north to south. It is a well preserved commercial street of Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is now a cultural relic protection unit at the county level.

Wang Shusheng's former residence

Located in the original qiangyu middle school in the street of popihe Town, it has 10 houses with brick and wood structure. It is a county-level cultural relic protection unit.
