Qijian Township

Qijian township is located in the south of Yingshan County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. It is located at the junction of Yingshan and canal, 33 kilometers away from the county seat, and adjacent to Longfeng Township, Xiqiao Town, Baiping Township and Tieding township. It has jurisdiction over Qijian village, yongjiao village, Silu village, Shiyan village, Dengcao village and Wayao Village, covering an area of 15.7 square kilometers, 376 meters above sea level and 5716 mu of cultivated land. It has jurisdiction over 6 villages and 56 communities with a total population of 4016 (2017). The total grain output is 2283 tons, the total agricultural output value is 4.44 million yuan, and there are 26 township enterprises with a total output value of more than 4 million yuan.

Agricultural construction

Since the establishment of Qijian township was restored in 1994, the township has focused on the work of "building water conservancy", with a total investment of more than 500000 yuan, labor force of 10000 person times, renovation of 52 shanpingtang, 3 shiheyan and more than 150 artificial reservoirs, basically solving the problem of production water consumption. At the same time, pump wells, pools and water supply pipes have been built in places where water sources are available. Now 70% of the farmers have access to tap water. Therefore, Qijian township was awarded the honorary title of "advanced collective of water conservancy construction" by Nanchong City.

Traffic construction

the township has also made great efforts in the construction of towns, transportation and communication. The first is to invest 120000 yuan to expand and harden Qijian street, which has greatly improved the business environment of the township, increased the number of shops, vendors and taxes. Second, the newly built village roads in yongjiao village, Shiyan village and Dengcao village are about 12 kilometers long, which not only facilitates the material circulation of the masses, but also opens up the stone resources in the deep mountain area. Now, eight stone factories and a tourist scenic spot (broken stone rock) have been set up, with an annual output value of more than 100000 yuan. Third, Qijian township has opened cable TV, each village has installed a program-controlled telephone.

Industrial construction

the party and government of the township have made great efforts to support and help the township enterprises. The township has set up 92 rural and private enterprises, with an annual output value of more than 3 million yuan and a tax of more than 20000 yuan. Every year, more than 300 people export labor services, which saves considerable labor service fees for their hometown and speeds up the pace of getting rid of poverty and becoming rich.
