The town is solid

Zhenligu township is located in the northeast of Yucheng County, Shangqiu City. It is the junction of two provinces and three counties. It borders Dangshan in Anhui Province in the East and Xiayi in the south. The Eurasian bridge Longhai Railway and national highway 310 cross the territory, forming two golden crosses with Beijing Kowloon Railway and national highway 105 respectively. The traffic is very convenient, and rural roads crisscross in all directions.

Program controlled telephone is popular in all villages of the township. The township has a total area of 46 square kilometers, 41000 mu of arable land, 15 administrative villages, 46 natural villages, 105 villager groups, and 18060 people (in 2017), with a population urbanization rate of 10%, and a population of 10000 in the secondary and tertiary industries. The township has also established a large standardized melon, fruit, vegetable and wholesale market in the golden area at the junction of Fuji Avenue and national highway 310.

Social honor

There are more than 10000 mu of Red Fuji apples, 10000 mu of seedless watermelon, 10000 mu of high-quality cotton and 5000 mu of greenhouse vegetables, which are officially named as "the first production base of 10000 mu of high-quality seedless watermelon" and "the national production base of high-quality red Fuji apples" by the Ministry of Agriculture. Red Fuji Apple also won the only prize in the 1999 Kunming World Expo.
