Shuangba town

Shuangba town is an ancient town in Zhongzhou, formerly known as Daokou. It is named after its location, which connects the ancient song state to Qi and Lu. On August 8, 1958, Comrade Mao Zedong visited the town and renamed it shuangba. Shuangba has an area of 42.87 square kilometers and a population of 37191 (2017).

The town government is in Zhongcun. Traffic location

It is located 5.4km northeast of Shangqiu City. Beijing Kowloon Railway, Jinan Guangzhou Expressway and national highway 105 run through the town and have freight yard operation, so the traffic advantage is very strong. The town has 46.5 kilometers of village level oil road, advanced and complete program-controlled telephone and cable TV network, and abundant power supply. Daokou township was established in 1955, and the commune was changed in 1958. Shuangba commune was renamed in 1959, and the district was changed in 1961. The commune was rebuilt in 1965, and shuangba town was established in 1983. In 1997, it covers an area of 53.5 square kilometers and has a population of 43000. It has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villages, namely Jiatang, Zhuzhuang, ChangLou, dinglou, Tulou, shuangba, Gongliu, cuinan, Xuzhuang, Zhulou, Lulou, Tangzhuang, Qiaozhuang, PENGYUAN, Yinzhuang, Xicun, Hanzhuang, Zhongcun, Wangdian and cuikong. In the same year, Shangqiu County was removed from the jurisdiction of Liangyuan Park of Shangqiu City.
