Yuguan town

Yuguan township is located at the south foot of Funiu Mountain, in the hilly area between Tuanhe and Mohe. It is known as "seven gullies, eight mountains and one mountain". It is a typical dry farming area of shallow hills.

On September 24, 2019, Yuguan town (Walnut) was selected into the list of the ninth batch of national "one village, one product" demonstration villages and towns.

Yuguan township is located 17.5km to the north of Neixiang County, connecting Wangdian and Mashankou towns in the East, tuandong town in the south, Zhaodian Township and Chimei town in the west, and Qiliping Township in the north. The township is located in the hilly area between Funiu Mountain and Tuanhe River and Mohe river. It is known as "seven gullies, eight mountains and one mountain". It is a typical dry farming Township with shallow hills. Under the jurisdiction of Yuguan, Wanggou, Zhaogou, xiezhai, dongsungou, sungou, Zhugou, huangmelia, Ziyu, Dushu, Yuegou, baoshitan, Liangping, Maixi, Shimiao, maishan, dongwangzhuang 18 administrative villages, 269 villager groups, 243 natural villages. The total population of the township was 33483 (in 2017), the natural growth rate of population was 5 ‰, the total area was 111.77 square kilometers (in 2017), the cultivated land area was 62063 mu, and the suitable forest area was 25289 mu.

In March 2016, the township was removed to build a town.

Yuguan's industrial development has three firsts: walnut base with the largest scale of continuous development in the whole province, pig farm with the largest scale of monomer in Asia, and tobacco professional Township with the largest scale of planting in the whole city. According to the current industrial development foundation of Yuguan Township, the initial development orientation is: "strong industry Township, famous forestry and animal husbandry Township, demonstration township of agricultural tourism integration"; the focus of development is industrial transformation and upgrading, that is, from big to strong, from products to industry, from quality to brand, from scale to ecological benefits. 1. The largest walnut base

Yuguan walnut base is the second batch of national walnut demonstration base. Yuguan combined with the actual situation, prepared the walnut industry development plan, issued a series of supporting policies and measures, successfully attracted the key leading enterprise of forestry industrialization in Henan Province Haolin Fruit Co., Ltd., and vigorously implemented the construction project of high-quality walnut base. At present, the base of high-quality thin shell walnut has developed to more than 70000 mu, of which nearly 30000 Mu has fruit bearing area. It is the largest walnut base in Henan Province. It has been highly praised by the State Forestry Bureau, the Provincial Department of agriculture, the forestry bureau, the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, and has been awarded the "hometown of Walnut in China" by the national economic forestry association.

2. Pig farm with the largest single scale

The 17th branch of Henan muyuan company is located in Huangjian village, Yuguan Township, covering an area of 1700 mu. It is the largest and most technology intensive branch of muyuan company at present. It is a major project attracted by our Township in 2008 with high-quality services and preferential policies through various efforts. After the completion of the project, the scale of the single field ranked first in the world.

With a total investment of 300 million yuan, the project is planned to be completed in three phases in three years. The first phase of the project, with an investment of 100 million yuan, was started in February 2009. Now, 72 units of breeding sows have been built, 125 units of breeding sows have been built, and more than 18000 breeding sows have entered the circle. The second phase project with an investment of 100 million yuan is under construction, the main body of the office building has been completed, and the biogas power generation and sewage treatment system are under construction; four staff quarters and 255 fattening pig houses are under construction in an orderly manner, of which two fattening pig houses have been put into production. The third phase of the project, with a planned investment of 100 million yuan, started in September. 150 fattening pig houses and a feed factory will be built.

After the completion of the whole project, there will be 100000 live pigs, 15000 sows and more than 300000 commercial pigs on average. It will play a great role in promoting the popularity of animal husbandry in our county and promoting the development of animal husbandry in Yuguan Township and even the whole county.

3. Tobacco professional Township with the first planting scale

Yuguan is a gathering area of modern tobacco agriculture. The tobacco produced in Yuguan is named "Mashan brand" high-quality tobacco by the state tobacco administration for its unique color, aroma and taste. It belongs to Zimbabwean flavor type, with annual planting area of more than 20000 mu. It is a national high-quality tobacco production science and technology demonstration base, Henan flue-cured tobacco standardization demonstration zone and Shanghai Zhonghua group raw material unit base.

Huangjian village is known as "one mountain, one ditch, one slope". Cooperate with Haolin fruit industry to build a walnut industrial park integrating new walnut variety breeding, walnut storage and related product R & D and processing. Yuguan is located in the hilly area, with Dazhai mountain, Hengliang mountain and Maizi mountain in the north and rolling hills in the middle and south. 1. Maizi mountain, a famous Taoist mountain in Wanxi

According to the records of Dengzhou in the Jiaqing period, there was a miraculous temple on Maizi mountain, but now it has disappeared. According to the records of Neixiang County annals during the reign of Kangxi, the original Dongyue Temple at the foot of Maizi mountain is now called Taishan Temple by the villagers. It was built in the Yuan Dynasty, but now it has disappeared.

2. General Xie GUI's tomb

Xie GUI (1335-1399), whose name is Qingping, was born in Wucheng, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. At the end of Yuan Dynasty, with Zhu Yuanzhang's uprising, he was awarded the third grade military commander Jin Shi and general Jia Guangwei. He died for his country in the battle of Jingnan. His head was obtained by his eldest son, Xie gongchu. He fled to Henan, where his father had worked, and hid in Jiangzi village, Yuguan Township, Neixiang County. During this period, he buried Xie GUI's head at the foot of a hill in the northeast of xiezhai village, Yuguan township. He was the ancestor of Xie family in Ming Dynasty. 3. Xie He's tomb

Xie He is a native of Makou South Racecourse in Hengshan, the 18th capital of Zhangpu County, Fujian Province. In the 24th year of Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty, the horse farm of Hengshan, the 18th capital of Zhangpu County, Fujian Province, was moved to Kaiji village, xiezhai village, Yuguan Township, Neixiang County, Henan Province.
