Zhaodi town

Zhaodi Town, subordinate to Changyuan City, Xinxiang City, Henan Province, is located at the junction of two provinces (Henan Province, Shandong Province) and four cities (Xinxiang City, Anyang City, Puyang City, Heze City), with a total area of 45 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, Zhaodi town had a population of 39000.

During the Anti Japanese War, the Anti Japanese democratic government of Binhe county was set up in Zhaodi. After liberation, it belonged to eight districts of Changyuan. In 1973, the eastern part of shejia commune, the eastern part of Fangli commune and the villages along Dadi in the north were divided together to form Zhaodi rice reform headquarters. In 1976, it was changed into Zhaodi people's commune. In 1983, it was changed into township. In September 2001, it was withdrawn from township to build town. By 2019, it has jurisdiction over 30 administrative villages.
