Cizhouzhai town

Cizhouzhai town is located in the south of Huaxian County, 30 kilometers away from the county. It is an important town in the South Gate of Huaxian County, and also a well-known hometown of greenhouse fruits and vegetables. The town covers a total area of 64.5 square kilometers. The government is located in cizhouzhai jijingde Road, which governs 44 administrative villages with a population of 57800 (2019) and 69000 mu of arable land. There are Liuqing River and Wagang River in the basin. Rich water resources make cizhouzhai town have beautiful environment, flat terrain, deep soil layer, fertile soil, complete water conservancy and irrigation facilities, and abundant grain and cash crops. Nowadays, cizhouzhai town has begun to take shape in food, health materials and wood processing, and is well-known for its modern and efficient agriculture. Cizhouzhai is adjacent to Changyuan in the south, and is located in the center of the Central Plains urban agglomeration of Anyang, Puyang, Hebi, Xinxiang and Kaifeng. The Daguang Expressway runs through the north and south, and there is a lower crossing in the government station. Provincial Road 213 and Provincial Road 307 meet with each other. The traffic location advantage is unique.

On July 24, 2019, cizhouzhai town was selected into the list of national strong agricultural towns in 2019.

History and culture

According to the records of Hua county, Zhai rang, a native of Weicheng County, set up a poverty relief office four kilometers northeast of Wagang village in the spring of 611.

From Sui Dynasty to early Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Taiping Township, Baima County, Huazhou. In 1370, Baima county was abolished and Huaxian county was designated as Jianghua Prefecture. Cizhou village is located in Qianshi village, Anmin Township, Huaxian County, Daming Prefecture, North Zhili.

In the third year of Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty, it was transferred to Weihui Prefecture of Henan Province. In the first year of Xuantong (1909), cizhouzhai belonged to the second southeast district (Guanggong District).

In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), Weinan county was established, and cizhouzhai was a district of Weinan County, namely cizhouzhai district. In the 38th year of the Republic of China, Weinan county was merged into Hua county, and cizhouzhai was divided into nine districts of Hua county.

After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the district was first changed into a township. In August 1958, the township was changed into cizhouzhai people's commune. In 1983, the commune was changed into a township. In 2014, the township was withdrawn to build a town and changed into cizhouzhai town.

Cizhouzhai town has a long history of culture. At the end of the Sui Dynasty, Wagang volunteer army, which was famous in history, performed benevolence and provided relief to the victims, so it was called Cizhou village. Chaozhenguan, which has been included in the cultural heritage list of Anyang City, was rebuilt in 1996. It covers an area of more than 100 mu, with a construction area of 15 mu. It has 52 houses, carved beams and fish buildings, solemn and solemn, with towering green cypresses and shady willows. It can be called a major landscape in Northern Henan. After being discovered by experts in November 2006, lifangtun woodcut New Year pictures in cizhouzhai town immediately made a big hit with its long history, distinctive artistic features, rich cultural connotation and wide application of folk customs. In 2011, the town's GDP reached 810 million yuan, with an average annual growth of 9.35%. The fiscal revenue increased steadily, reaching 5.65 million yuan, 4.41 times higher than that of 1.28 million yuan in 2007. The development momentum of modern agriculture is strong. By the end of 2011, the town had 5340 solar greenhouses, covering an area of 8000 mu, 4800 arched greenhouses, covering an area of 12000 mu, with considerable economic benefits; the industrial economy was developing rapidly. Siji Tongda ecological park, with an investment of 60 million yuan, covers an area of 20 mu and a construction area of 12000 square meters, is located in Huaxian new area. Linkang farm, with an investment of 10 million yuan, an area of 11 Mu and a construction area of 3000 square meters, is located in maobaishe village, cizhouzhai town. The farm is a standardized scale farm in our town. In 2011, a total of 23 projects were implemented, with fixed asset investment of 200 million yuan, and non-public enterprises developed rapidly. In 2011, there were 61 small and medium-sized enterprises in the town, including food processing industry, wood processing industry, sofa manufacturing industry and building materials industry, with a total output value of 256 million yuan and 1886 employees. The tertiary industry developed rapidly. There are 122 new private enterprises; the new logistics industry has a bright future, with an average annual turnover of 288 million yuan for peanuts, melons and vegetables; and the net income per capita is 5860 yuan, 2.75 times higher than 2250 yuan in 2006. "Greenhouse agriculture" has been identified as "pollution-free agricultural products production base of Henan Province" for two consecutive years. In 2009, it was awarded "agricultural standardization production demonstration base of Henan Province" and "popular science demonstration town of Henan Province". In 2014, our town was awarded the honorary title of "agricultural industrialization demonstration town" by Anyang City again, which has been awarded this honor for 11 consecutive years.
